Cheerleaders in grades 3-8 will have the option to register for Sideline Teams or Competition Teams**. See below for more information.
All SciCoh cheerleaders (Sideline and Competition) will be eligible to attend UCA cheer camp, and will have preseason practices in August. All SciCoh cheerleaders will cheer at football games.
Once games start (in-season), Sideline teams will have 1 outdoor practice per week. Competition teams will have 2-3 indoors practices per week to prepare for competition. All in-season practice days, times, and locations TBD. Competition teams will attend mandatory 2 day choreography in August, and 4-5 local competitions (see below for choreography and competition dates).
Grade 2 cheerleaders are not eligible to compete and will be placed on a Sideline Team.
**Please keep in mind that competition does come with higher commitment and expectation levels than sideline cheer.
ALL SCICOH CHEERLEADERS, REGARDLESS OF TEAM, WILL CHEER AT FOOTBALL GAMES! Sideline teams will cheer for Division 7 Varsity games, and Competition teams will cheer for Division 1 Varsity games. See breakdown below:
DIVISION 7 VARSITY:
3rd Grade football games - Mighty Mite (gr 2) Sideline CheerTeam and Mite Sideline Cheer Team
5th Grade football games - Peewee Sideline Cheer Team
7th Grade football games - Midget Sideline Cheer Team
DIVISION 1 VARSITY:
4th Grade football games - Mite Competition Cheer Team
6th Grade football games - Peewee Competition Cheer Team
8th Grade football games - Midget Competition Cheer Team
While this new alignment may present some challenges, we feel this is a good step forward for our cheerleaders, coaches, and the program as a whole. We are confident that with your support we can continue to give our cheerleaders a safe, successful, and rewarding SciCoh experience.

2025 SciCoh Cheer
Open to all Scituate and Cohasset residents entering grades 2-8 in September 2025.
Registration Fee - $300
Sibling Discount
We will not have a family cap this year, but we will offer discounted registration for additional siblings (10% off the registration for a 2nd child, 20% off the registration for a 3rd child, and 30% off the registration for a 4th child, etc. all based on age).
Codes for the sibling discounts are as follows:
Code 2NDSIBLING to receive 10% off 2nd registration
Code 3RDSIBLING to receive 20% off 3rd registration
Code 4THSIBLING to receive 30% off 4th registration
Payment Plan:
$100 deposit due when signing up
$100 due May 1st
$100 due June 1st
*Registration must be paid in full to receive uniforms. A valid form of payment must be on file for the payment plan. Any returned payment(s) will incur a $30 service fee.
Additional Fees
UCA Cheer Camp (all cheerleaders STRONGLY encouraged to attend) - $140 due August 1st.
Competition Fee (competition teams only) - $200 due September 1st. *fundraising will be available to fully cover competition fees*
